In the early 1930s, the monastic breweries of Belgium created the Tripel as a balanced alternative to the pale lagers of Eastern Europe. Typically brewed with Belgian candi sugar, we accent our Tripel with jaggery, an unrefined palm sugar from the date tree. Saint Jaggery opens with lively carbonation, delivering that uniquely Belgian character with notes of jaggery’s rich distinctive flavor. Who is Saint Jaggery you ask?
