Sonnenkönig IV shines majestically orange-golden as a Barrel Aged Double India Pale Ale. Hoppy aromas rush upwards, intensifying in the rise of ne carbonation and reminiscent of ripe tropical fruits. Surprises include the moment that wets the palate: Exotic fruity notes become one with the spicy muscat bouquet of the Muscatel barrels, in whose French oak wood the beer rested for six months. The nale is crowned with lasting bitterness.
