Brewed and then aged for 11 months in spent La Riojan wooden red wine barrels, 29 Daniel is reminiscent of a Flander’s Red. A wonderful light funk and tartness in the nose and on the palate. Creamy, nearly luscious mouthfeel balanced by spritzy carbonation. Wood tannins and vinous. Prunes and dried dates. Cacao, light coffee, and dark pumpernickel raisin bread.
