This is a top fermented beer which experiences a secondary fermentation in bottle. Intense amber with red highlights and a foamy cream colored head. Its complex nose has aromas of candied fruit (citron and orange) and spices (anise, black pepper and nutmeg) with balsamic notes. Warm, full bodied and noticeably sweet in the mouth, this beer is dedicated to Christmas. Matured in red wine barrels. Vintage 2010/2011.
