Seasonal Beers

With the warmer weather and the welcoming of Spring, many breweries create a special brew to celebrate the season. This custom dates back to medieval days and carries with it many traditions.  Today you can find the range of styles to include Saison, IPA’s and the traditional Bock beer that German monasteries would brew as a strong beer for sustenance during their Lenten fasts.  The goat is depicted on some logos because the beer was brewed during the sign of the Capricorn goat.  Either way, the beers of spring are a symbol of better times to come and the moving away of winter.  Celebrate Spring with your customers with one of these fine beers from our portfolio.

It is familiar, yet creative. Don’t get us wrong; this isn’t a margarita masquerading as a beer. It is a true American-style unfiltered wheat; it just has something a little special about it. Like most good things in life.

A specialty bock style beer traditionally enjoyed in Germany welcoming the summer season. Available in the 16.9 oz swing-top glass bottle.

Released in celebration of the arrival of spring, this beer is an ancient and mysterious part of the brewing tradition. Over time, the term “bock” has come to mean a beer darker and stronger than the brewery's “regular” brew.

This micro-styled bock beer has a rich and full-bodied flavor while being creamy on the palate. The nose yields a fresh, malty aroma with a hint of caramel sweetness. Hop bitterness and aftertaste balance the sweetness and maltiness. It won the Silver Medal in the 2002 World Beer Championships.

The newest selection from Eggenberg, Austria. This dark dopplebock is rich and malty sweet with hints of chocolate. It is 8% ABV but it drinks much easier than the alcohol stated. It starts with a heavy amount of Munich malt at 19 degrees plato and roasted to perfection

This traditional Spring bock is designed to have a more refreshing, bright character than its Fall cousin. Hops and malt duel for attention in the palate, followed by a dry finish.

A Belgian White Ale with 30% Apple Juice added to the brew. The flavor is reminiscent of Granny Smith Apples. This is a light refreshing drink. A cloudy haze is evident when pouring.

A Belgian White Ale with 30% Raspberry Juice added to the brew. The flavor and nose is ripe with raspberry. This is a light refreshing drink. A cloudy haze is evident when pouring.

Toasted malt notes with slight earthy and funky character from the yeast and a clean finish. Spring seasonal
