Seasonal Beers

Summer

The heat of summer months brings some truly refreshing beers to the forefront from our brewery partners. They have been brewed these thirst quenching beers with the warm summer days in mind turning more toward lighter styles of beer including: Weiss, Lambic, Radler and Fruit Beers.

Wheat malt contributes to an unusual lightness and dryness to the palate, and this—combined with the distinctive flavor of the wheat—makes for a perfect thirst-quenching beverage. The ideal drink for beer lovers who appreciate tradition and character in their beer, but also seek a lighter, refreshing style, perfect for warm weather.

Very light, hardly any sparkling, fine white head. The bitterness introduced already in the aroma, comes completely forward in the aftertaste. Considered one of the top Pilsners during the Michael Jackson International Pilsner tasting in Beer Passion Magazine Autumn 2000, where 27 Pilsners from around the world were ‘blind’ tasted and compared.

Hand-crafted in the tradition of Belgium's best brewers, Berghoff Solstice Wit is the perfect summer thirst quencher; light, yet thoroughly refreshing. It is made using the finest red wheat, 2-row malted barley, and the most sought-after American hops. It is lightly touched with subtle hints of coriander and Curacao orange. This was the first beer to feature the new Berghoff label design.

This monumental India Pale Ale honors the hero from The War of 1812 who battled the enemy on Lake Erie. A medium-bodied and well hopped India Pale Ale with a dry, fruity aftertaste.

This wonderful beer has a deep golden hue and a smooth malty flavor with a clean pleasant finish. Imported German malts are used to create the flavor of this festive beer.

An American Wheat Ale, Gumbalhead is named in honor of the underground comic book cat created by Rob Syers. Initially a seasonal summer beer, now brewed year-round due to demand. This beer helped redefine American Wheat beers making it a refreshing Wheat Beer that doesn't suck.

This special beer is brewed in accordance with an ancient Bohemian recipe. The soft mountain spring water from the water conservation area surrounding the brewery and the choicest of ingredients characterize the Privat Pils’ unique taste.

Imagine our smooth, clean wheat beer with a touch of peach and you get the idea behind O’Fallon Wheach, our peach wheat beer. Refreshing and crisp, it’s perfect for warm summer weather.

This beer is a one of a kind ale, that you can best classify with the other Strong Golden Ales from Belgium. What makes it special is of course the yeast, and what makes it unique is the higher amounts of hops used. This beer has about twice the bitterness of other Belgian beers. We can not expect less, since this beer has been brewed for centuries in the heart of the Belgian hops region, Poperinge. Indeed, the small village of Watou is today part of the city of Poperinge.

This beer is brewed exclusively by Brouwerij de Glazen Toren with natural ingredients: artesian water, barley and wheat malts, liquid sugar, hops and yeast. The result is a dry, hoppy, fruity and slightly veiled beer. Saison is a blonde beer brewed according to the ancient tradition of the province of Hainaut. Individually wrapped bottles.
