The Cider Summit is scheduled to make its Chicago debut on Saturday, February 9, 2013. The inaugural event will take place from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the Lakeview Terrace Room at Navy Pier. Louis Glunz Beer, Inc. is proud to represent multiple cider brands exhibiting at the event including the Duponte Cider Bouche Brut from France, the Sarasola Basque Cider from Spain, and the Samuel Smith Organic Cider from England. Owners and cider brewers will be on-hand to meet with attendees and provide samples of over 60 ciders from around the world, while tasting recommended food pairings from Fortune Gourmet. Interested attendees can currently purchase advanced tickets online for $20 at Brown Paper Tickets (http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/292749) and at the Hotel Palomar concierge desk. Tickets can also be purchased onsite for $20, cash only. Admission includes a tasting glass and 10 drink tickets. Additional drink tickets will be available for purchase onsite at $2 per ticket. The event is 21 and over only.
