The distributor announces a host of new selections from their brewery partners
Lincolnwood, IL (January 22, 2013)— Louis Glunz Beer, Inc. continued to add to its list of over 190 breweries in 2012, and in 2013 they plan to expand the selection even further. The family-owned company is excited to continue to add new brands from their brewery partners from around the world, increasing its already diverse list. As the largest craft and specialty imports distributor in the Chicagoland area, Louis Glunz Beer, Inc. looks forward to an amazing 2013 with new breweries, and new beers for Chicago’s beer enthusiasts.

The four beers listed below show the beer distributor’s unique selection of local and import brews. Just a sample of what’s to come in 2013, beer drinkers can look forward to grocery aisles and restaurant menus full of new brews from Louis Glunz Beer, Inc.
Hinterland Luna Coffee Stout – Hinterland Brewing Company, based in Green Bay, WI, released this opaque stout with a coffee-like flavor and hints of chocolate, leading to a clean and refreshing finish. Infused with nitrogen, this bold brew has a thick, fluffy head. ABV 5.8%
O’ So Night Train – O’ So Brewing Company, located in Plover, WI, has an impressive list of interesting brews. The Night Train is a rich, creamy oatmeal porter. Hefty amounts of chocolate and crystal malts add to the brew’s deep color, which gives it its name. ABV 7.2%
Saugatuck Double Black Ale – Saugatuck Brewing Company, just across Lake Michigan in Douglas, MI, is brewing this double hopped American black ale. This ale has a rich, malty flavor with a generous amount of hops making it a big beer with an incredibly strong flavor. ABV 8.2%
Saugatuck Pathfinder Pale Ale – Alongside the Double Black Ale, Saugatuck Brewing Company produces this pale ale brewed exclusively with Cascade hops. The full flavored beer is well balanced with a refreshing finish. ABV 4.9%
The Orkney Brewery’s Skull Splitter – The Orkney Brewery, across the pond in Scotland, is churning out the Skull Splitter, a robust Scottish ale named after the seventh Viking earl of Orkney. This rich ale has a smooth mouth feel with a strong, dry finish and heavy hints of fruit. ABV 8.5%
