A Belgian Strong Dark Ale brewed seasonally by the Brouwerij Huyghe of Melle Belgium, established in 1654. This very complex beer has an earthy, spicy aroma with hint of hops which become more evident as it warms

Traditionally Jägertee was brewed by the hunters in the alps using tea, rum, spirits and spices – an alcoholic “Punch” with about 13 – 16%vol to warm the heart and soul on cold winter days and nights. Freihof was the first to develop a 40% volume concentrate which easily can be diluted with boiling water to get this fantastic Austrian specialty. Jägertee was awarded a Silver Medal for the 2007 International Review of Spirits by the Beverage Testing Institute.
